Manchester, NH- The 2016 YMCA Northeast Regional Gymnastics Championships will include more than 1,400 young athletes from ages 6 to 18 years of age from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, Maine, and New Hampshire. The gymnasts will perform in a variety of competitions May 13 through 15 at the Saint Anselm College Sullivan Arena in Goffstown, NH.
The YMCA Allard Center of Goffstown will be sending 50 of their own gymnasts to the championships to participate. “This event is but one of the many ways these kids will measure their success. The YMCA goes beyond teaching the competitive aspect of the sport and focuses on the development of the whole child,” Meg Norklun, Gymnastics Director of the YMCA Allard Center of Goffstown and Host Director for the 2016 YMCA Regional Gymnastics Championships.
Admission to the event is free all proceeds from donations and sponsorships will benefit YMCA Allard Center of Goffstown Gymnastics Team and Program.
