Weare Cares!
Thank you so much for your generosity to the Weare Community Food Pantry. The Weare Community and others came together to help in time of need in generously giving. Our hats off to Center Woods Elementary School, Weare Middle School and John Stark Regional High School whose staff and students continuously give above and beyond in helping the food pantry. Whether it was a young child with loose change, to teens organizing food drives, to staff giving wholeheartedly and volunteering to help. Serving is a commitment and you should all know that we were able to give each family a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner Basket.
The Weare Community Food Pantry is five years young and continues to serve their community through these trying times. I am very thankful for all the volunteers who put in countless hours and I would like to extend my appreciation for all their hard work throughout the year.
The Community of Weare pulled together and I must say it is comforting to know that we live among such giving and caring businesses, organizations and citizens! Many donations for 2009 were made in lieu of gifts for Anniversaries, Birthday Parties, Firework Displays, Pony Rides, Running Marathons, Senior Projects etc. Each year someone surprises us with their innovative ways of reaching out to us.
