GOFFSTOWN - 19 April 2016: The Goffstown Police Department will be hosting a 12 hour RAD (Rape Aggression Defense) program. The course will be held on the following four dates in May. May 17th, 19th, 24th, and May 26 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Goffstown Fire Department 656 Mast Road (Station 19) Goffstown, New Hampshire.
The Rape Aggression Defense system is a program that offers realistic tactics, techniques and training designed solely for women. Students will learn awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and avoidance. It also teaches the basics of hands on defense training, but is not a martial arts program. The RAD program is designed for the everyday woman, regardless of fitness level. The program is for ages 13 and older.
This training is in great demand and space is limited. Enrollment will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. The Goffstown Police Department offers this class FREE to all participants. Participants must attend all training dates to benefit from this intensive program.
If you are interested in participating in the program, please contact Officer Jacqueline Pelletier of the Goffstown Police Department at (603) 497-4858.
