Goffstown Tree Lighting
Goffstown- Goffstown’s Main Street Program is kicking-off the holidays with its annual Friday Night Under the Lights celebration, Friday, December 4th, from 5-8 p.m. The evening includes the community tree lighting at 6:30 p.m. on the Town Common. Girl Scouts will lead the carol singing. The Main Street Program will sponsor free horse drawn hayrides from 6-8 p.m. Get on board at Goffstown Ace Hardware and enjoy music from Relevant Church along the route. The Congregational Church will host its living nativity scene during the evening as well. Several businesses will host open houses including Luna Salon which is offering a raffle to help needy families in the local area. At Ace Hardware, you can decorate cookies with the folks from 2 Friends 2 Good to Go. The Goffstown Public Library will feature readings of The Polar Express at 5 and 6 p.m. Santa will be visiting the village throughout the evening, and Photography by Kelly will offer photos with the jolly old elf. Buy a stocking from the Main Street booth, and Brown Graphix will embroider it for free, then visit area businesses to fill it up.
