Dear Majority of the 09-10 Goffstown School Board:
Though you would like to think I am one lone voice of criticism regarding the administration at MVMS and the superintendent, please note the 117 votes I received as a write-in candidate for the Goffstown School Board in the last election. I only had my name available for write-in for three days!
Just remember, as I claimed at my public hearing, though MVMS faculty and staff can not speak out about the harassment and bullying they receive for fear of retaliation by Jim Hunt, principal, Jenn Gillis, assistant principal, and Nicole Doherty, curriculum coordinator, there are constituents amongst them. Also, there are constituents who love and care about the faculty and staff at MVMS and do not appreciate the abusive and stressful environment their loved ones must work in. Lastly, there are constituents who do not appreciate having their children learn in this hostile environment.
Turning a deaf ear is NOT recommended.
As I have suggested throughout these past many months, you can do the following:
The old proverb applies to this situation, “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” It is part of the human condition. No one has arrived. Everyone has something they can work on in order to improve. We need a new paradigm of accountability in the Goffstown School District. Everyone’s job performance is going to be evaluated, absolutely everyone. Since you would not protect my private speech, and since the law allows all public employees to “criticize fully,” I will be doing so.
Stay tuned!
