NEWS RELEASE 17 June 2016
GOFFSTOWN – The Goffstown Police Department wishes to remind residents that dogs, four (4) months old and older, are required to be licensed in accordance with RSA 466:1. RSA 466 requires that the Town Clerk notify local police that dogs have not been re-registered. As a result Goffstown Police will start to issue civil forfeiture MUST APPEAR court summonses. These will require dog owners to appear at the 9th Circuit Court Goffstown. To avoid any action, the Goffstown Police and the Town Clerks office are again reminding residents to register their dogs before June 30, 2016.
New licenses can be obtained in person at the Town Clerk’s Office or by mail (forms are available on line). Renewal licenses can be done in person, via mail or online at www.goffstown.com.
