Congregational Church of Goffstown Welcomes New Pastor

Rev. Mark Kraines

Goffstown , N H, November 14, 2016 : The Congregational Church of Goffstown is blessed to welcome Rev. Mark Kraines. Pastor Mark comes to us from First Parish Congregational Church in Lebanon ME where he has been sharing the love of God as the Pastor for the past 8 years. As strong believers in being part of the community, he and his wife Kelley are looking forward to moving to the area. Their 26 years of marriage have, and continue to be, centered on Jesus Christ; serving as solid role models for their 3 adult children. His hobbies include hiking, coaching baseball and construction work.  A graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, for more than 25 years Pastor Mark has been pursuing his calling of developing lifelong Disciples of Christ who will advance the Kingdom of God through the local church. Growing up in a Christian home he was very familiar with religion but it was in college when he truly began making decisions based on his faith. An invitation to a Bible study would challenge him to question the need to grow in faith and lead him on a path of discovery. He realized that true contentment is a dynamic relationship with God and the greatest benefit has been to gain new life infused with meaning. For the next 15 years as a Campus Minister, Mark would train and mentor leaders, build student ministry, teach the Gospel and lead international ministry projects. With these experiences in combination with seminary,

Pastor Mark has developed an extensive foundation for preaching and teaching the Word of God. Like the invitation he received, we invite you to get to know Pastor Mark, our church family and most importantly God and his wisdom for your life.  Congregational Church of Goffstown is a member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference and we welcome everyone to worship with us Sunday morning at 10:30 am. Pastor Mark's first service will be Sunday November 20th. Please join us.
