Scouting for Food:
Goffstown Boy Scouts Troop 99 is organizing this year's Scouting for Food event. Scouting for Food is an annual statewide event supported by the Daniel Webster Council, Boy Scout of America. Notices will be placed on the doors of homes on Saturday November 7, 2009 encouraging residents to participate. On Saturday morning, November 14, 2009 between 9-11am, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts will collect donated food from the residents of Goffstown. This year all the local food banks are seeing a large increase in the need for assitance given the state of the economy.
